A MIDSUMMER NIGHT´S DREAM

 

This is a love comedy, that was write in 1595.

In this history, Theseus (the duke of Athens) is going to marry with Hippolyta.

Some days before their wedding a love argue between four young persons take place. In the history there are also some people making a play for the wedding of the dukes. And  another conflict between the king and the queen of the faires.

All this histories end up having something in common.

Globe Theater

Hello, now we are going to talk you about the globe theater

The Globe Theter was build in 1599, this theater was next to the Tamesis river.

It haved the capacity of 3351 persons.

It was a circumference, the stage was a rectangle protruding from the circumference.

There were two hatches.

Like almost all of the theaters of this age, The Globe didin´t have roof, so the plays were only represent during summer (from May to October) and when it didn´t rain

 

The english writter William Shakespeare represent some of his works in this theater, for example: Hamlet, Romeo and Juliet, Macbeth.......
